I hit some regular tot lots this weekend. It was very successful. I got a real heart stopper for Ring #50 but it was not real. The next ring (#51) was the real deal. A chunky 14KT wedding band at 9.5g. Gold #9 for the year.

Nice bunch of rings.
I miss the sand playgrounds.
They're extinct here.

Nice gold, could you imagine what that stone would be worth if it was real? Would be like finding the hope diamond.

Great finds Jim! Your sense of where to go look sure is working well!

They are hard to find here as well. They have all seem to upgrade to rubber mats. I see these guys detecting woodchips and I envy them! LOL

That would have been a dream come true if it was real! But you got the thrill! Congrats on your 2 ring finds, you did nail the gold! I stopped getting too excited when I unearth one of those "all that glitters is not real" rings. I don't want to end up in the cardiac ER over it, and embarrass myself. I wait till I get home to inspect it, then all hell breakers loose! Including the happy dance! HH!

Look at all them rings :headbang:!!! Sweet finds Jim ! You are king of the tot lots !!! I rarely find rings in tot lots . Keep the great finds and videos coming
