Hi all,

I was sore today from detecting but not too sore to go up the road and check the church sports field I hadn't checked in awhile..came up with about $4 in clad, a wheat penny (right on top of the grass) and my 43rd ring of the year, another silver. I found the ring during the first half hour and stayed about an hour more without finding any more jewelry.

You can tell the weather is changing slightly, it's supposed to rain this coming week and get cooler..fall detecting is my favorite time!

Nat

Fall is the best season for sure!

I'll bet that stone is real! Look at the setting.

Congratulations on the beautiful silver ring!

Way to go Natman! That's a very nice ring. I think we are tied up now on the rings. Keep em coming!

Thanks, actually a guy was MDing the area 6 days ago after the church's annual outdoor fair..there were lots of targets left today so apparently he didn't search the whole area as well as I thought. Most targets, including the ring were just below the grass.

Most of the rings I find are 925 silver. I've only found 2 this year that are gold, the others are gold plated and some are junk..I guess I live in the poorer area of town :D I'm still looking for a nice 14K with diamonds.

Gorgeous looking ring Nat.
What a find!

Hey Nat, that is a beauty! Poorer section or not you've still found more silver than me...out of 56 rings only 5 are gold and 1 silver; not quite 11%. And still no diamonds.
