Wow Bill, leave me some for when I get home. joking

You are doing a wonderful job in finding rings and good ones.

I hope you have left some for me when I get back to the beach soon.

Take care and good luck on your next hunt.

I'll answer your pm today.

Looking up 835 on a quick search shows silver just like you wrote. Do you know why it's 835 and not 925 like other rings that we find? I know the number has to do with the purity of silver but being that silver is not that expensive, why would they make a ring with a smaller percentage of silver?

Just my thoughts, I'm sure these questions have been answered before.....

That diamond in the scoop must have been a heart thumper.

nice finds FLA BILL
didnt do too bad on the clad sunday.....$5.01 in change, but no blingy dingy myself!

 Great job Bill. I'm still kicking my butt for moving from the sunny beaches of So. Cal to here in Oklahoma! In the 8 years I've been here I have only found 3 rings worth keeping!

Nice finds Bill. You said you got them in waist deep water at low tide. How was the bottom where
you found them, sand or shell and rock,or a combo of each. Also where you hunt, does it have a
sand bar further out,or just gets deeper. Thanks Joe

Joe, I was South. I have found that all of the beaches North of me for the most part are sanded in big time. As I was walking I was sinking into the soft sand, It seems that the sand has been taken off of the beach and into the water.

The beach I was at seems to have a harder sand bottom, mostly just sand however hard to dig that first scoop even with the SS pointed scoop. The first beaches I hit up north seems to have some kind of sandbar however south they did not....

Thanks for the reply Bill.I am always curious as to how the bottom is moving/forming as this
gives clues as to where the best hunting is at any beach.Especially where the older finds are,
not just fresh drops. It's a mystery that may never be fully understood. I have found old
finds in knee deep or less with sandy bottom. Why there after being in the water 30 yrs,or
more.Hard to figure.Thanks,Joe

Nice rings Bill. Man, I would have had a heart attack seeing those huge diamond-looking stones in my scoop.

I guess I need to make the 90+ minute drive to get back to some decent water detecting. Been hitting an older campground the past month.
