about the New Madrid Quake. can't rem. who wrote it but a fiction based on surviving a repeat of the one as stong as 1811? but based in present.

can't imagine what it must have been like experiencing that quake. I bet a lot of people found religion real quick. have been thru quakes in MO, CA, & WA. WA's were the worst cuz they were waves that lasted far to long.(seconds only, but felt like forever) but the big one here in the New Madrid fault would be horrifying! the sand geysers alone would be enough to scare the puddin outa me. not sure I would want to read the book, cuz I probably wouldn't sleep after it. but then again- - it probably wouldn't stop me. glad Cappyz was wrong on his latest prediction!
