I only searched half of the Brinks Box so far.Opened another Dump bank with a counter and took a small handful of rejects no silver today but I have some sweet mirror finished "S's". I have a box of halves coming tomorrow should be a brinks box. Now to see how many holes I'll fill in Whitman 9009 folder.

The 1938 is a really nice find. I've searched dozens of nickel boxes and have yet to find a 1938.

Thanks and I had a hole in my second folder just right or it. Need the 38 D,S, and 39 d,s too. finished the Brinks nickels this morning got another 39, 47s (had a hole for that one too) about 12 more 48 thru 61 and 2 more 1970s. Hope to get their bigger Brothers today in my box of halves. Your 38 is dozens closer now. My best finds come from customer rolls, so when I pick up a box usually take some customer rolls along with it.

Now if only the Weather would cooperate another 12-18 inches of snow this weekend. Happy Hunting everyone!

I went to dump bank one and the machine was broken, so I went another town away and dumped 187.75 in nickels (I kept some D variety newer coins for a new Jefferson album ) I found a 1919 Wheat there score! I went over to pick up my Box of Half's, a Brinks box. Not a skunk got 3-40s

Also got a 1982D for the folder. About 77 Bicentennials which I'll use around town to spread the cheer. I also pulled out 80 for future folders. A good day.

I was hoping the camera I bought would be good at macro it wasn't may keep it for point and shoot. So I'm awaiting a usb microscope from Best Buy, just got the tracking number.

Finished the Brinks Box nickels about 16 more keepers there filling 2 holes in My Whitman folders. 2 boxes of pennies gave me 34 Wheats I filled 3 holes in my Whitman penny folders.

Searched 100.00 in customer rolled nickels no machine gunk! I got 40 1939-1961 2 that made it into my albums. 1, 1944 war nickel. 6, canadian, and 1, 2014 10 Bani from Romania= 0.026. Still awaiting a usb microscope. Have some customer wrapped pennies for tonight.

Just finished 20.00 in pennies got 16 wheats 1each, 1910, 1923, 1945d, 1955d the rest were extras for future whitman folders. all from customer rolls. My dump tomorrow should be 97.65 in nickels, and 19.84 in cents, I'll see how accurate the CR are.

Picked up some CR today 66.00 Nickels, 30.00 quarters, 15.00 dimes, and 8.50 in pennies.
Skunked Quarters, dimes, and pennies not one wheat at all.

Nickels 1 war 1942s and 26 keepers from 1939d to 1961 4 1955 3d and 1P I needed that Philly
I got my new phone It'll be another learning curve but the pics are great.

Got a Brinks Box of nickels and pennies. 6 CR Dimes were skunked. The Pennies were stingy with Wheats just 13 got a worn 1936d and a 1929 the rest 48 thru 59.
The nickels gave up a 1943P, a worn 1939, and a 1948S, finding allot of 39's just no D or S. The rest were 40 thru 59. The nickel folders are filling up.



Returned the point and shoot camera as the new phone shoots better. Awaiting my USB Microscope

Was hoping to show off some nice finds today with a USB microscope but UPS missed the delivery then said I could pick it up instead saturday but they're closed saturday. So I'm pissed off, I got some wheats, some pre 60's jeffs, and a dateless buff. not a great day.

UPS started the bad luck this weekend 2 boxes of nickels and 2 boxes of pennies nothing for filling the folders. Oh well I have now been at it one month here's my collection so far. Plus fridays Buff.




Doesn't include the 80-40% sold one month ago today. I like my progress so far. Hope to have that USB scope monday if #$@%! UPS doesn't screw me again

A Brinks box of Nickels, and Penny box produced 1 dateless buffalo, 1919 wheat, 1926 wheat, 2 1929S, altogether 18 wheats and 40 Jefferson between 1938 thru 1961. Got my USB scope and here are my first pics.

Todays search a brinks box of pennies and nickels 18 wheats oldest 1936 and 2 1939. Nickels gave up one 1943S and another 1939 along with 38 other pre 61 jeffersons. A nice 1976S in there too

Got the usual Boxes of Pennies and Nickels, plus 9 rolls of CR Dimes. 17 wheats oldest 2 1938 and 15 various others, also a clad dime in a penny roll. Nickels did better 1 1938p, 2 1939p, 1944P war, a 1950P (posted on another thread how 1950 D and P were eluding me earlier today, I'm not getting V or Indians either, hope the CRH gods hear that too. ) Altogether 45 pre 1961 Jeffersons for the day.

Thank you CRH gods you sent me my first "V" nickel can't read it but I'll take it. Got 52 keeper Jeffersons and 24 keeper Wheats today. Highlights are 1910P,1912p,1919p,1934p wheats and 1939S,1943P,1945P Jeffersons here's the pics.

No Boxes at the bank today, so I picked up some CR Rolls 60.00 halfs, 70.00 dimes, 36.00 nickels, 36.50 pennies. No Silvers, one roll of dimes short a dollar, 7 keeper nickels, 6 Wheats. Nothing really nice enough for a picture. Well there is always tomorrow.

Who rolls their dumps ? There is 3 banks with coin counters near me. I also was told my main bank will not be getting me any boxes of halves anymore. Time to open up a BOA account I guess.

Thanks Gracie ! I had been doing well with nickels till yesterday, and now today Skunked on silver, did pull a sweet 2005 S today. 2 boxes of pennies were thin too. I post pics and tally up tomorrow.
