Hi all! I have posted elsewhere for help finding my class ring, and have recieved several suggestions where to look, which I will follow. Since this means a lot to me, I am going to try every avenue. Ring was lost a long time ago, at a time when the net was not available, in fall of 1970. As I got into metal detecting recently, have discovered lots of avenues for search, but of course realize the the outcome may not be good. In looking back, should have tried something right away. Under the circumstances at the time, (me being young and inexperienced didnt help), I didnt think there was any chance.
Info; In fall of 1970 I visited the town of Iona Mn (south of Marshall Minn), where I had lived several years earlier. I was attending tech school in Alexandria, and went to visit friends and party in Iona. During my visit there, after partying in the eve, a bunch of us went on a hay ride around town and into the country. Some time during the hay ride, I lost the ring. Dont know if in town or in country on road or farm field. So, its not like you can hunt for it, as where would you start. It would have to have been found( if by chance it has), and in someones ring collection, jewelry drawer, sold at flea market...............or?? Maybe none of these?? Still could be in ground, or someones junk drawer? Likely a million to one chance its someplace it can be found. But I am willing to try, and offer a reward for it. $100.00 for return. Or?
Ring info; Believe it was a Jostens. Bemidji Minn High, Class of 1970, and initials J. S(this is one point, I dont remember for sure if initials were on it). Think it may be yellow Gold. Does anyone know if Jostens would have records that far back?? I wont mind more ideas to find this ring. But if you do the search on net or other means, and find it by some clear miracle........I still pay the reward for its return. Thank you all for your attention, and I will watch here for a miracle.
