Last week I found 448 coins in a deep Crack in between some concrete. It's in a busy place ,and I am shy and don't like folks coming up to ask what I am finding . Anyway so I went back this morning with a longer probe and got another 361 coins out of there again. A lot were in very bad shape and stuck to gather. I am sure there's still more , but short of busting the concrete I can't get to them . I didn't see anymore down there, but the sand kept sliding in. I just can't see how some couldn't be left in there. The picture with 2 piles of coins , the one on the left was last weeks coin find and the pile on the right in from today. Here are some pictures 2723.jpeg2722.jpeg2721.jpeg

Nice! Those zinc pennies look pretty shot out but nothing wrong with all those quarters that a little salt and vinegar won't clear up. Do you have a total $ value figured up yet?

I have never heard of such a recovery as this. Whether modern clad or old stuff this is simply amazing to me. Well done scraping up that enormous pile of coinage. :headbang:

Those remind me of the coins that come out of a Car Wash vacuum cleaner?
Nice haul! Get out the tumbler!

I was in the Cape this morning, just for an hour or so, and was wondering how you were doing....
Do you have or need one of these?

Are these like washed up from the water or something???????

That's two total piles! Great work.

Looks like now if you don't have a tumbler, you just paid for a good one.

No, I haven't added up a total . Just happy to find so many in one spot . I usually only read about others finding coin amounts like this .

Cash them in and buy a sledge hammer! Just kidding! Great recovery !

My nail apron couldn't hold one of those piles. That was a sweet spot. :headbang:
