Those are some beauties Neil! I have some too (like your little ones in the first pic) and it's like instant history. To see handwritten cancellations from the Civil War era blows my mind!

Not sure how it fits in with MD-ing but I would LOVE to see a stamp forum alongside coins.

Neil i collect stamps those are great.

That's Strange, I thought I saw one.

I'll see if we can Get one added.

That would be AWESOME Jeff! I used to frequent eBay's boards but now I'm a 100% T-Net junkie for life. Your boards even leave eBay's in the dust as far as funtionality. Plus they don't even have a stamp board. You guys are the best!!!

And I'll put my money where my mouth is, Jeff. If you add a stamp forum I'll become a charter member.

I agree...The Philatelic Board.

Has a nice ring to it....

Me too! This is TreasureNet, not just metal detecting. Most of us have many interests here.

I agree with a philately forum! Stamp collecting has many facets- pnc's, first day covers et al, revenues, precancels, watermarks, grills, cut cancels, even different color cancels. Not to mention topicals, cto's, etc. etc.

Did I hear someone mention stamps?

Boy you dug this out of the archives a bit. I'm still up for it.
