Rev War Style Pewter Button

Dug this beautiful large pewter button yesterday in South GA. Man, this looks military and Rev War period at that. But it’s wiped on the face. Still a beautiful button. I don’t think a lot of these are coming out of the ground these days.

That's a great find. I've yet to find a pewter button. That one looks like it could use that glue water mix to hold it together and keep it in one piece.
