Rev or Civil War Buttons? -First old stuff

What a great day. Sun was shining. Went hunting and found two buttons. Not sure what era. One might be Colonial and the other is probably Civil War. The very large with out any marking is what I think is Colonial. What do you think? Oh and by the way this is my first historic relics. Thanks goes to the many people who make this a great site to be a part of.

Yes it looks that way upside down. Dont know how the pic got turned upside down.
