Welcome back!

Hi My Fellow TH'er! Welcome back to TreasureNet.

Wel-come back ... :notworthy:

Hey ffuries!! Welcome Back and hope your health has improved!! Live up the road from you in Destin!! GOOD LUCK and GOOD HUNTING!! VERDE!!

Welcome back, I hope your health has improved!

Thank you for the warm wishes and welcome. In 2012 I started getting a lot of shocks (Therapy) from my ICD, then in Feb 2013 I had to get a new one (Batteries wore out on the first one). Then I was diagnosed with degenerative disc disorder in the lumbar region, shots galore (Ouch), then late last year I went into A-Fib for no reason, so they put me on another medicine to control that. Needless to say the body is taking a beating. Can't say I am old seeing I am only 48, but 23 years in the AF gave my body a beating. So I try to take it easy right now, as I ease back into doing things.

First thing I did was spend a lot of time cleaning all my weapons, and getting back into shooting. Below is the list of toys that I had to clean, shoot, etc.

Well Pulmonary tests, liver tests, and X-rays all came back good and clean, so that is good news on the A-fib part. Will have to recheck every six months. So apparently no damage or issues with the medication (Amiodarone) thus far. The back is starting to kill me, so it looks like a new series of shots are in the near future. The bladder cancer check came back clean, so if I make it to Dec 2015 cancer free, it will be 5 years cancer free. This aging process sucks, LOL! You quit looking forward to birthdays and instead start looking forward to good check-ups with your doctors!

Hating the heat and humidity that is becoming our normal summer weather here in Panama City, Florida. Keep the house at a comfortable 67 degrees, and hate to venture out side. The two Husky's are loving the inside temps though.

What will it be like when I do get "Old"?
