Last week I had several days of quick hunts that made me glad I got to get out and hunt... I hit a yard there in Durant that we had hunted before.. I used a smaller trash coil and it really pulled some good targets...
Two of the plugs had 2 and 3 buff's in each hole.. I was amazed at the difference the smaller coil made...

The silver I did find was not near as old as what had come out of there before.. these were mostly on the sidewalk right of way.. I'm thinking there might have been a school bus stop right on this spot..

The wheats were almost lined along the sidewalk and just kept coming, even shallow ones were found..
The oldest 3 were 1913...

Had a really productive day and can't wait to get back...

thank you...

You scored more Buffalo Nickels on that hunt than I've ever found. Interesting to see what the smaller coil has done for you. I'm considering getting one myself this Christmas...that or a better shovel.

the smaller coil sure cuts down on the targets under the machine at one time.. definitely can make a difference no matter what machine you have... shovel wise I use the Samson T handle.. yeah its a little pricey (bout 60) but it sure makes short work diggin plugs...

That's a whole lotta coins. Congrats!

thanks guys.. been nice to get out and hunt...

Still nice finds though, even if they're not as old as you'd like them to be.

thanks.. Oh I love the finds, its just weird on one side of this spot its barbers and even a seated, on the other Rosy's and mercs... you never know what you will find...

Good finds .....Really like that tribe of Injuns........................................HH

Even though Buffaloes are not so old there is still just something about them that. I like, good job.

Hey Evan - those are great finds - you are a buffalo hound

Great hunting. I look forward to more videos. I have one hunt with the CTX 6" coil. At first I was using too much sensitivity. I was hunting in manual. That made the small coil turn nails into good targets. I was thinking this thing is junk. But I switched to auto plus 3 and the detector settled right down and worked great. Even at auto plus 3 I hit a Silver Washington quarter at 8 inches. And it had plenty of signal. Results may vary in different dirt, but for the size of the coil I think it packs a heck of a punch.
