Return to the beach ends with a new gold ring - video

After being forced to spend WAY to much time away from detecting, I finally got back out to the beach I have been hunting for so long. My return yields another amazing pile of garbage and a nice gold band for my efforts.

There was a drought here two years ago - the dams and lakes looked like this...sadly I was not into detecting at the time...... sweet place to detect the gold

And this is the clean beach. I went down the road to a camping area where there is a fishing and some swimming. The ground was carpeted with trash. Cans, bottle, bottle caps and pulltabs everywhere. You can't even swing a detector, it's jsut constant signals. I tried some eye-balling, but didn't spot anything but trash.
