hit this hard with the Ace250. small parcel gave up a '64 2 Cent last year. this hunt I bagged 10 copper Lincolns:BangHead::BangHead::BangHead:, a whatzit, brass contacts on soft lead base metal, NO EYE DEER what it is. the damaged brass crucifix marked INRI at top, and "I am a Catholic in case of an accident notify a priest" on the reverse. Nice hunt. Is top pic a reed from a musical instrument? Like a harmonica?

At least you got out and covered more ground. Almost all of the older homesites (late 1800s) always give up a harmonica reed or 2. The Cross is cool. All crosses are marked INRI (Jesus Nazarenus Rex Judaeorum) which translates to "Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews."

thanks, Eric and Loco. if that is a harmonica reed--at 8 inches long it would fit nicely in Barry Hussain Usama's mouth. Loco, love the persuader y'all holdin', should have gotten out my Latin dictionary, now I know what INRI means

that is a 10-hole diatonic harmonica reed
cool find
if i was with ya i could have told you

As the loco one ( :tongue3: ) said, harmonica reeds are always welcomed.
