Decided to join and see if I can possibly help those interested in some of the more difficult points in amateur gold dredge design and construction. Although I was an electrical/mechanical engineer I also studied and designed items requiring some knowledge of fluid engineering. I'm a big fan of the radial (or circle) jet for suction dredges as opposed to the standard "angled-tube" design. Riffle design is also an "interesting" area of discussion. Will help when and where I can.
