results of dowsing

Well, I can only speak for myself, but to post a valuable find would make you a big target. Here's the kind of photos you will see.

A picture of the container. (not the cow) But you get the idea.

People who find/recover items with metal detectors post their finds in the Today's Finds section. Often....very often. And some very expensive finds, too. You can also read about the fantastic finds in the UK, where the "treasure" is purchased by the local Government/Museums at a very reasonable price. And the treasure hunter is not fined or prosecuted.

There is a very good reason there is no photos of real buried treasures being found with dowsing. Being a "big target" is not one of them. Just ask the guys in the UK and such

What a particularly stupid conclusion to reach.....

The 'guys in the UK' MUST give up the treasure, courtesy of the Treasure Act. So perhaps they have cash, but they DO NOT have the treasure trove, and so you are not comparing like with like. Many dowsers and MD'ers on this site, should they find something in their respective jurisdiction, act illegally by keeping it. And you poke fun and say they should show it ??? Here?? It may not morally be the State's/ government's, but very often it is theirs legally. The treasure is only publicised according to government rules, not the Thunter's personal preferences.

Your purpose must be to deceive and therefore to slander dowsers. Otherwise, why such hair-brained logic that makes you look daft in front of your peers?

Hey An Ri Rua..I was watching the history channel a few days ago..The person who found the large Iron age artifacts receive $100,000 in taxable income... The treasure was estimated to be worth 1 billion dollars..What a good deal for the finder...Art

Hey Art, Good to chat again. I've been off-air. Too busy earning my keep :-D

Personally, I would love to find those ancient artifacts and receive 100K. Those, I feel, belong to the people. Gold coins, at a time of British conquest, belong to me or the farmer whose land they are on. If I were to find any. Plus a share for the dowsers who help me here. Artifacts I would present to the State, probably anonymously or else that I found them accidentally. Archaeologists and context can give me a pain in my neck. Shoot the messenger etc.

Here is a old shed or building I dowsed Silver in a while back using my equipment. It was sometime later when I was contacted and told the following.

"Tim - thought you'd like to know...inside that barn where you marked a silver hit, I found a box that contained two very old carriage lamps - they are silver (not plated) and glass. They have been there for about 15 yrs - I had forgotten about them. I will send you a photo when I get them cleaned up a bit. Luke"

Dance SWR dance you make me laugh. It's hard to deal with facts when it's not in your belief system ehh? Oh please explain how I knew where to look and why so I can laugh some more. It happened! Deal with it. Nothing you can say will change that fact. It happened on here treasure net. Spin spin spin your web. I posted on topic. You posted about playing some game? Stay on topic.

Seriously.

If you keep entertaining this yodak, he'll keep spewing his spew, and sidetracking y'all.

I'm here to learn, not to read arguments.

Facts? Multiple guessers played the guessing game of "find the treasure" in a photograph.
Are you talking about Map Dowsing?

Allegedly, one of the guessers guessed correctly, although never validated. So how about all of those with incorrect guesses? After all of those guesses, running out of guessing room...random chance comes into play. Somebody had to eventually guess the "hiding spot" or the game would have never ended.
Yes we have been advice of this by members of the Skeptic Rumor Believers.

Science has already discredited your "beliefs" in magic wands. Science and several other agencies have discredited some of your other "products" you try so hard to solicit as "real".
Pease post where your beliefs can be found?

So...now we can get back to the topic.

"why not to put photos of real burried treasures founded with dowsing ? it will be very interesting thing i think"
That is at dissection of the Dowser.
There is no photos of real buried treasures found with dowsing... simply because there has been none found.
Please tell us how you can know that fact?...Art

Apparently dowsing doesn't work for SWR. It must work for some people because it is still around. Ya know that SWR called me gullible. He is right about that I'm sure but that has nothing to do with dowsing. So me being gullible is irrevelant. Now those with some experience will know by my comments that I am a novice. I admit to that too. But I know that there is something to dowsing even with my limiteed experience with it.

How many of you out there have seen the old parlor "trick" where you tell the sex of the baby of a pregnant woman by dowsing her with an object hanging from a piece of thread. Well I'm saying that it's no trick. It is science. You can try it on yourself. Even if you are not pregnant. Put an object and I don't think it has to be metal, on the end of string or thread. Yes, a pendulum. Put it over your wrist. It will move in one direction such as clockwise or counter clockwise. Now do your other wrist. The pendulum will move in the other direction. Now for a couple of facts. Left handed people have it move in the opposite direction than right handed people. Women have it move in the opposite direction of men. Left handed men and right handed women apparently have it move the same way. I tried it repeatedly with the same result. So even if we don't understand it, it works. Go ahead SWR, if you dare. Try it. You don't dare do you? Actually, that's OK, because if you don't dowse then that leaves all the more treasure for those that do.

Now I'm not saying dowsing is perfect. In fact I've said that it is not understood. Actually when it is understood it is apparent to me that each individual understands it differently. Wow, I have a great grasp on the obvious.

Actually I have a question. I used to work on a team with a dowser. He would get a signal and then the next time he tried the signal wasn't there. He said that the signal got burned out. Whatever that means. So I asked him. When you dowse cemeteries and get hits for the gold there, do those signals burn out? He said that that was a good question but I never got an answer after that. So what is it with these signals? Do they burn out? Why? How? What does it mean? I assume it would be just a temporary burn out but I don't know. Is it the instrument he was using? This burnout would happen often out in the field and it was frustrating. He would always have to replace batteries and sometimes that didn't seem to help either. So if anyone has any answers I would appreciate it.
Thanks
Nicholas

You are absolutely correct. All these things you have said are true. If you are an experienced dowser, you can do many things with a pendulum. Even unexperienced people can with very little instructions. Good Lcuk. rockhound

Hey bookcliff and rockhould...You are correct that Dowsing works different for each person..96% of the people who try it will have the rods cross. That does not make them a Dowser. It is how much work they want to do in order to find out what the rods are telling them.
In Japan there are Dowsers who make their living sexing chicken eggs. There are thousands of water dowsers that make their living finding locations for waterwells...Art

There are two well diggin comapnies here that have dowsers on their payroll. They have learned the hard way that a hole dug into the ground does not insure that water will be found. Theses dowsers tell them where to dig and find the shallowest water sources, saving them and the customer time and money. When charging by the foot, any unproductive hole is a waste of time and money for them and the customer. I talked to one of the operaters recently and he said that in over 20 years, they haven't had a dry hole and that they always found plenty of water exactly where their dowser said it was. rockhound
