Results from last night and this morning:
$50 quarters - skunked
$50 dimes - 1 Rosie
$15 pennies - 314 copper - no wheat
$100 nickels -
- 2 wartime
- 1 Buffalo - no date
- 12 pre-1960, including a 1939 in nice shape
I stopped at a coin shop and purchased the State Quarter books for one of my tellers (goodwill goes a long way) and they are selling culled Morgans/Peace dollars for $18 and 90% halves for $9.00. Not highway robbery, but close. Coinflation has them listed as $15.94 (dollars) and $7.45 for the halves. Interesting.
I have $20 of pennies to do tonight.
