a few of my resent find's.
a vintage 1972 staiger desk clock made in Germany, soon to be on ebay.
can't find much info on it so i am not sure on a value.
paid 13 bucks.

Denmark 18/8 Stainless tray with teak handle, maybe Danish Modern? for ebay, only a buck.

made in norway gravy serving spoon with teak handle. might sell this one with the tray. .25 cents.

the coin spoons were from last week at a buck each. might ebay them but i like the silver.

the ww11 pilot wings are sterling and i might be able to get 25/30 bucks for them, i overpaid at the estate sale. 10 bucks.
but i wanted them.
also got a baume and mercier watch free, but it's missing the winder.

click on the pictures for close ups.

Nice finds! Are there any other markings on the back of those wings besides sterling? You may be pleasantly surprised when you sell them, esp. if there is also a makers mark. $10 is not too much at all for them, unless they are reproductions, which I doubt. I sold a pair about a year ago for $50 with no makers mark, just "sterling". It's funny you mentioned a Staiger clock, if anything you overpaid for it, not the wings. From the completed listings search, they don't sell too high unless it's a very unusual one. I just bought a Staiger myself, (West Germany) lead crystal with etched roses.

$2.00

on the back of the wings it reads,
amcraft attleboro mass sterling.

i saw a clock that looked a lot like the Staiger 3 weeks ago for 30 bucks and passed on it,
i researched it latter that day, it sold for like $200 on the bay. i went back to the sale and it was gone.
so i thought it was the same maker but could not remember the name, took a chance and was wrong.
its funky vintage 1972 and i cant find that same model for sale anyplace.
i think ill get my money back, but not much more.
i have to start using my smart phone more often.

I like the clock too, but I never buy any to sell because I'm just not knowledgeable enough.

Your method of posting these pictures is pretty cool. On ebay I was told to use img src=<link> but it doesn't pop open like these do. How do you do that? What's the code? Do you use the same code on ebay?

yes it's html code, i use use.com. someone here was talking about it and i checked it out.
its great for posting on here and ebay and its free.
best part is you can post all kinds of pictures on ebay for free and avoid there fees. people on ebay love the extra pictures and it boosts sales.
when you are listing and you get to the part of discription there is a html tag, click that and copy and paste the html from use into the box.
sounds complex but after you learn how it's very easy and the best free system for listing i have found.
if anyone knows a better site please tell.

here is one of my listings so you can see what it looks like.
