Another submarine story. This time it is about the British D1, their first sub to use diesel more than a century ago. Diesel, baby! It's what runs the world. There are a few pictures, including one of the D1 back in the day. Just looking at this sub you can tell how futuristic it must have seemed back then. Best quote in the article: "Every diver dreams of identifying a historically important wreck". And this one would definitely have been a good one to identify.

Good read. I am sure that many ship wrecks are misidentified. And in some places multiple wrecks reside. First offensive sub I sent the article to a friend who was a submariner.
