Mineral and Gem localities in Arizona
by Lee Hammonds, geologist-mineralogist
1977

this is a travelers guide to mineral and gems in arizona.
format is a usgs map, separated into loose leaf binding...gem and mineral locations clearly marked.
includes a removable, University of Arizona, arizona bureau of mines, geological map of santa cruz and pima counties.

while it is 30+ year old information, this is the text you want on the front seat wondering just where to look for what...

promise
i just recieved a new copy from ABEBOOKS, several copies listed.this is a difficult one to find, out of print.
...best 20 bucks an arizona rock hound can spend.

Hi Pippin,

You are sure right about the old books! Lots of good forgotten info in them. Sure beats running all over chasing the pounded to death spots in the rockhounding AZ. books. Nice find for your research library!!!!!

:icon_thumright: thanks Pippin
