No big finds from me because the earth is just to tough but I have been getting research and local stories. Apearantly there have been 6 Spanish 1700 or earlier coins found around the river down here. So I have been asking some buds if I can dig up there dirt. Also found some ghost towns that are local. Now all I need is permission and to find owners. Hopefully I will have some coins to post in the near future.

Sounds like you are are taking advantage of the dry spell!!! Nothing helps to increase your odds like research research research! Makes it much more rewarding to find things when you put in the time to find a long forgotten site.

Yah i guess last year some md's around here went out and found a WWII plane that crashed in a woods. Talk about a relic find.

Very cool. Where (about) and what kind of aircraft?
In addition to MDing and U.S. coins, I am also a WWII plane-nut.

Cessna, they were test planes from a lawerencville airport. They found documents about where it went down and went looking. There was also a trash heel in terre haute Indiana where the us did test flights on captured German planes.
