Went to a local park today found the normal clad ,aluminum foil,soda can rings,etc. when up popped this little beauty..it isnt rusted (just a lot of tarnish and oxidation)have no idea what metal its made of no silver stamp although the underside seemd to show silver through some of the tarnish on it but most likely pewter and silver plated

Looks like the monopoly game piece. Not sure what they were made out of.
 

The metal used in Monopoly tokens varied depending upon the year. Some were iron, most pewter. But the original pieces were made by toy companies that made miniatures for tokens and charms to be used in bracelets. The more recent versions are stamped with "Monopoly" right on the token.
 

i think you a right evo after google imaging search it looks like the one used in the 50's thanks
 

Good save. I've rescued several dogs, real and imagined. I'm glad you saved this one, even if it's just a Monopoly Mutt. :laughing7:
