Hey guys just trying to get opinion's. My bounty hunter 505 gave up the ghost after five years of service. I have decided it is not worth it to repair it. I all ready have a minelab sovereign gt for the beach and shallow water so I do not need a beach detector. I do not use the sovereign in parks because I still not have been able to pinpoint with it with enough accuracy to keep from digging huge holes in the parks. I am thinking of getting a Garrett 250 to replace the 505 as a park detector but I have heard it is hard to pinpoint also. So I am wondering what would you recommend in the 250 price range.

The Ace 250 with stock coil pinpoints great.

Tesoro silver umax, i tried a friend ace 250 and in my opinion the Tesoro was better and lifetime warranty,no given up the ghost on that one

I second the Tesoro. Can't argue with a lifetime Warranty. Give me a shout, I'll help get you into one.
