Reno/Dayton/Carson/Gville area - Newbie looking for company

My sister showed me this site about two months ago and I ended up driving myself insane over wanting to purchase a metal detector. I know it probably won't allow anyone to quit their day job but why not add a little adventure in to life!

I'm really new at this and I turned the thing on for the first time today and played in my Sister's back yard. I'm wondering if there is anyone out there who is looking for company or wanting to start a monthly group get together event (or if one already exists) for locals to go out on an adventure.

hi there, they call me hoppy... we have a quad club in Nevada, you don't have to have a quad, we take rides and look for ghost towns or just take rides on nice days. Some of us have metal detectors........happy new year..................hoppy
