It's about time to get my equipment ready to rock and roll this season. Last year at the end of the season I had a surging issue with my Honda engine. I drained all the fuel and cleaned the carb and plug and oil and all that ( thanks to the help provided here! ) anyways I want to run my engine here at home and was wondering how hard it is to get into the HP pump?
I got a new seal kit for the pump when I bought the dredge so
1-I'd like to check the pump guts and make sure it's good to go
2- I'd like to run my engine without the pump for a while to make sure it's running great before I get it out in the boonies. Setting up buckets and running water through it at home so I don't burn up the pump is a P.I.T.A...
Is it pretty basic or can should it be left for "professionals"? Do I have to worry about aligning it perfectly or anything else that may cause me to destroy it?
Is there any "how to" videos for Proline pump? Google hasn't been much help.
As always you guys are the best and many thanks!
