I'm now reading the seller means 32 cm ??? ::) long!
Perhaps a long barrel version?
It seems to be very old and rusty, the seller dares not
to take other pics, because of law restrictions concerning
fire arms. I guess it will remain a puzzle ;D

looks like a american civil war era time frame weapon --- a 1858 remington new army model six shooter- around 7 inch barrel or so--- normally black powder guns barrels tend to be longer because black powder burned much slower than modern smokeless gun powder does-- thus you needed a longer barrel to allow for full burning of the powder for maximum power-- (they were mostly made in 44 cal but 36 cal ones exist also) -- that is what I'd say it looks like to me-- I shoot a modern reproduction "black powder" one in 44 cal ---(they were very popular back then their $12 price tag was half that of the colts $25 cost) --that and they are very rugged with the top strap design rather than the open top type design of the colts --- the overall shape looks very much like one I think. It's a pity.
I really doubt someone would bid for it .
Nobody here would want to have troubles later ....
if you know what I mean ::) ;D

The seller covered the trigger etc. with paper
so it will not look too "dangerous" :o

Correction, it's the Remington "Army" model with the solid top strap. The "Navy" model had an open frame. The "New Army" was a cartridge revolver. Monty

Actually the Remington Navy also had a top strap, but it was .36 caliber. The New model Remington army was a percussion revolver introduced in 1863.

rough rule of thumb --- top strap was remington -- open top cylinder style was colt --- remington navy was 36 cal --- remington army 44 cal --
