remington kleanbore disc?

dug a disc today about the size of a half dollar it says shot with a remington kleanbore cartridge it's been shot on the edge any idea about the time they would hold this kind of event. or what it means? any info would be great.

These silver-dollar size discs were used as toss-up targets in demonstrations by traveling marksmen representing companies such as Remington and Winchester. Similar disks were also made for certain famous performers such as Annie Oakley. "Plugged" discs were given away (or in some cases, sold) as souvenirs.

i live about 10 miles from the original remington factory. i have friends who work there. i think that is a sharp shooter token that got blasted. if you need more help, contact me. my neighbor is a supervisor down there. nice dig. Bill
