Great article BigC. Thanks for posting!

I picked up a new tool for hunting after reading the story. I encourage all to read this, it's simply fascinating.

Man, all it research mixed with a little luck and a metal detector :headbang: I can't even imagine what other discoveries wait for them at that site! Thanks for the article.

in a word --WOW

WOW ditto and THANK YOU for posting this! :icon_thumleft: :icon_thumright:<2 thumbs up>

I would love to see NATIONAL GEO, DISCOVERY OR HISTORY CHANNEL do an story on this. What a great story.

I'm suprised that this is now being brought to the publics attention.

Eight or 10 years ago, an automotive design engineer that I see daily, spent several weeks as a part of the archeological exposition and brought back pictures.

It says "the discovery is the result of 13 years of research and five expeditions to the desert."

"It all started in 1996, during an expedition aimed at investigating the presence of iron meteorites near Bahrin, one small oasis not far from Siwa,"

Great video Saturna.

"We learned that the remains had been exposed by tomb robbers and that a beautiful sword which was found among the bones was sold to American tourists," Castiglioni said.

Wow...some people have all the luck. I'm sure whoever has it has no clue what they have.
