Found this small pin. Has Virgin Mary and around her it says.( o Mary conceived without sin pray for us who have recourse to thee.. At her feat is stamped 1880. Could this be the date is was made?? Found in San Antonio TX.

What you have is a "Miraculous Medal", also called the medal of Immaculate Conception. The date on it is actually 1830, and it represents the year that Saint Catherine Labouré had a vision of the Blessed Virgin Mary[SUP]

There are dozens, if not hundreds of different patterns and are currently available in jewelry/religious shops today. Perhaps someone else can help with an approx. date based on its style.
