played in the mud with FMERG today. he beat me like Hillary cleans servers---real good!!! I scored a shell casing, a live round, a roundball that appears to be about 59 cal., a small piece of broken sterling, a broken sterling spoon, a Monroe silver co. plated spoon, a very old gold plated ring minus the stone, a small brass buckle, a holed brass tag with #10 a wee bit tinier than a penny, 9 wheats, '13, '18, '21, '27, 2 '29's, '34, '35, '39. the winner of the day was a gold plated Eagle pin with great design-- a little help on whether it is Mil. or Civ. and date would be helpful. another roasty toasty Buff. for a little variety, and almost forgot---spent all season without a single IH, today I get 3, a '65, '97 and '02. the silver is 2.1 grams, the silver spoon is 11.7 grams. I humbly concede defeat to Frank. the sky opened up at 3PM, so I slithered thru the mud and vacated---until tomorrow
