Instead of hitting the grass areas, I decided to try hunting in the wooded area of a local park. Next time I go back I'm taking a garbage bag since there was more beer cans, etc. than I anticipated.
The three mason jar lids were within about 10-15 feet from each other on the bank of a stream. The one on the left was for all practical purposes was right on the surface. The middle one had some loose dirt on the top, but the rest was buried. The third one was probably 6 inches down. Ironically that's the order I found them in. Right in that area was some sort of tank that was partially buried. I didn't have time to dig it up.
The bowl was a surface find. The wire is part of a fence that's fallen down. I saw probably 50-60 ft. of it and it was still going.
Of course I found the obligatory .22 bullet.
Oh and I have a new respect for those of you who normally hunt wooded areas, especially new growth areas. It's hard work.
