Hello Forum,

The weather was terrible today, (cold freezing rain) but I just couldn’t stay inside any longer. I managed to find a few things of interest. Thanks for looking!

Nice looking buckle,

Any day out is a good day! I love finding those harmonica reeds!

The buckle is very nice and harmonica reeds are hard to find in one piece. I think I might have 2 complete ones including the one I posted Saturday. Better than sitting inside all day!

Good finds. Your Wm. A Rogers fork is "Greylock" pattern, introduced in 1910. As you probably know "Silver Nickel" isn't silver, but a white metal alloy of copper, nickel and zinc which may or may not have been electro-plated.

Thanks for the ID on the fork Red-Coat. Can anyone help to date the buckle? I think is had a silver plate or wash originally. Maybe a suspender buckle?

Yes that's a suspender clip part circa 1910-ish also, same as spoon-era artifact for holding up yer britches. Take care :).
