Relic rifle

I had this rifle some days. It was magnet fished from lake. But is now totally corroded away

Any idea what type it was, or how old? Interesting find.

I am not sure. Cartridge is small and rifle is now in three parts. I guess it was Arisaka type and dropped during Finnish cw.

How do you magnet fish?

When i went i just tied a really strong magnet to a string and bobbed it up and down from my boat on the bottom of the lake, beside bridges. When it got heavy, I would pull it up. You would be suprised what is down there, but I never found a gun. I am not sure how he does it though.
