I'm most likely wrong, but since it's open on the round end, it looks like it's a fancy handle for the draw string that you pull to open/close curtains or blinds.
 

maybe its a torch.
 

I had seen, something similar to that some time back, Just a guess --- A handle to a magnify glass possibly used from 1890-1930s

Thanks for the replys, But most of the finds have been from around 1720s to 1800 at the site.Could it be part of gun powder flask or smoking pipe?

Mike maguire says its a opium pipe.he wouldnt elaborate how he knew.

Thanks guys..And i will keep you posted..Thats the second time someone said it could be a opium pipe..Any info on the age? These are land finds, and sometimes i find newer stuff at the site..Like those dam wheat pennys >:( Goodluck to all ....relic... Fisheye? I think that mike maguire guys right..I smoked some opium in it ,and it worked great :tard: htansk yozes
