Relic Hunting In Florida

Fla has some truly very old places to hunt down there, and I have several friends that dig Colonial,Seminole(sp) and Civil War relics down there.Do your research and you can find relics there,it aint just luck.Daniel

go where the folks lived and yes indeed relics can be found in florida -- land access can be tough at times however -- so do your research -- Ivan

You don't know how much I appreciate the feedback. All I've been doing down here is beach and park hunting. I've done some research on relic hunting, but like you said it's hard to get access to anything land wise. It takes great patience. I was figuring that some of the better places to relic hunt will be in the northern part of the state.

Again, Thanks very much. I appreciate ANY and ALL feedback. HH. :)

It's not pure luck to find anything while relic hunting down here!! Just as Daniel In AK said, you have to do your research. I will be hunting an old abandoned town close to her this Summer when I come back. If you'd like to get together with me, let me know! I'll be in Missouri (as of tomorrow) until the end of May when college lets out and I come home...

Cool Bran. Stay in touch w/ me. I go out often with DirtFishin'Dale. It would be great for both of us to hunt something a little different. Thanks, look forward in huntin' w/ you.

Ivan, does your cousin MD??? If so let me know. Maybe we could hook up.

HH to all. ;D ;D ;D

Sounds good man. I just flew back in to Missouri an hour ago, so I'll be here doing the college thing until the Summer. But if you'd like to get together, I find out exactly where that site is and we'll all meet up. You may have to remind me again once Summer gets closer.
Have a good night...

Relic dude does real good around Pensacola.

Bran, Thanks, I'll mark for the summer and shoot ya an e-mail to see when you're ready. Good luck at school. HH. ;D

Hey birdman,

Thanks for the info. I've heard that the Pensacola area's prime.
HH. :)

Plenty of British, French, and Spanish colonial, as well as Civil War relics in the Panhandle. The only problem is that the State knows this as well and most public property has Metal Detecting banned. However, a little research and sweet talking to property owners pays off pretty frequently.
