It's a good pound of solid brass/bronze though.

I'm pretty much done with this experiment. There's stuff to be
found. Just too much work for too little return for the short time
I got left.

That is a weird item, looks like a large window lock.
I like odd items.

But you did prove your finding abilities have improved.
Like i said perhaps the thing you seek is not ready to be found yet.
Sometimes we have to bide our time untill all things are aligned.
A patient person you must be , untill circumstances have changed.

One of my...i can't say worst days because it taught me patience, was at the beach. I came home with half a corroded zinc and a hand full of pop tops, but the expectation that things would get better, and they did, but not on "my" time schedule.

I wonder, might that large brass thing be some sort of radiator cap? Off a Model T? Or maybe a flying saucer?
