Hello Forum,

I finally made it out today after a long winter freeze. I found a few interesting relics. The shutoff valve has me wondering how old it is. The shotgun shell head stamp dates from 1892 - 1902, and the carr fastener went on an old Model T radiator snap cover. Thanks for looking!

Thanks cmthunder. I wonder if that valve is automotive related now. Model T’s had something similar. I can’t make out the markings on it.

The valve is very early 1900. Is it iron or brass? I would say fuel shut off from a tractor or maybe a fuel barrel?

Hello Tony in SC its definitely brass. Internally threaded, and the makers marks or numbers / letters?.. Maybe 1907? Thanks for your input. I figured someone on T-Net might be able to pinpoint this.
