Relic day...also, what type of bullet did i find?

Pulled an assortment of relics today. Take a look. Also I need help identifying a type of bullet or slug i found today. I believe it is .62 caliber and has a hollow base, a star on the tip, and notches around the sides.

The bullet is a 20th century shotgun slug, used for deer. I have found a few of them.
