Reference material on suspender clips

One of the number one finds I get since I've started back into metal detecting is suspender clips - many have interesting designs and writing on them, but I have not been able to find any good references on the different manufacturers of suspender clips, the years they were in business, etc. I have found such references for things like metal buttons, so I was curious if any of you have found good reference books on suspender clips? So to answer my own question, there' 400 pages of 1800's suspender buckle history available for $65 on Amazon! I'll look on the used book market for that one!
