Hi,

I picked up three redware pieces today at a flea market. The seller had no clue what they were and I only guessed they were some kind of pudding bowls with a cone center. So, I had to buy them so I could figure it out.

Bowls measure about 6-1/2" dia and about 2" tall.

Cone is not open at top and not tapered. It's also not opened at bottom.

What is this? and what it is used for.
Many thanks.

Wow! Never would have guessed that!
Do you put the whole apple over it?
Do you know who makes them. I am told this is pretty old.
Many, many thanks.
