After a lousy day, redemption came in the form of this beautiful religious pendant marked " Sterl Chapel ", what a great start for the year
this is my second sterling piece so far. Along came 3.66 in Clad and the referee whistle.
Question, the pendant has a 1830 date, do u think this is when it was made?

Very cool pendant. I found one exactly the same 2 months ago. Congratulations

Congrats 8Reales, I found one exactly like it earlier this year on a soccer (futbol) field sideline. It is a nice piece of silver! Sub 8-)

Really nice find. Nuthin' like a little silver to save the day.

I've found a bunch of those. I grew up in a strong Catholic community near an old Jesuit seminary.
Those students didn't drop much silver back in the day because most of them were basically broke. But they did drop lots and lots of medals. 100 years later I came along and dug 'em up....

Nice piece of silver. Gotta' love Catholics and their precious metal trinkets. Here's one that might be in your future.

Congratulations on a sweet silver find.
That particular medal marks one of numerous "Visitations" by Blessed Mother Mary.
