Quartzite or a red chalcedony.
(In the picture, it looks like a top round roast) 😊
Chalcedony, agate, flint, are all crypto crystaline. Crypto means “hidden” and not visible to the naked eye. The OPs rock has definite crystals showing. I’ll stick with quartzite for this one.

I wasn’t certain if I was seeing crystal flakes, or if the lighting was causing an effect. Quartzite is the better choice.👍🏼

Feldspar?

If it is, it'll be softer than quartzite.

Getting a hardness will sometimes help in identifying minerals.

Feldspar = 6.0-6.5
