Red River Hunting?

My favorite hunting place is near a river. Lots of history nearby. It's on a hill so the brush doesn't get too high. But this time of year near the bottoms of the river the brush is way too thick to even think about swinging a coil in.

Is there history where you are going? If there is then keep going back looking for stuff if you're into that sort of thing. Keep looking and something will eventually pop up. Rivers and creeks are good spots to find historical relics.

Where at, I am in the area around hwy 69/75. You anywhere close? There are old ferry crossings and WPA camps along the river around here, and of course local swimming holes. With the heat the river is low now and if you get out at daylight it's not too bad until 11 am or so.
