It looks to me like medium quality glacial flint that's been heated. I'd guess it's a woodland point of some sort. Gary

That is interesting material. Do you know if it’s a lithic that is utilized locally?

Cool little broad, stemmed point. Wide corner notches, little barbs on those shoulders and the expanding stem give it some features to consider.

It may have been reduced over time so typing it would be a guess. There are others on this forum that can bring a local expertise to help you.

A possible type could be a MOTLEY variant. Late Archaic to Woodland.
