I've been detecting for over 43 years now and this is the most coins I've found in one day. I hit a couple of hot spots and found 246 coins. This includes 19 foreign coins and 5 tokens. Add the 163 coins I got yesterday and it's over 400 in two days! No silver or jewelry and only one wheat but I'm not going to complain too much! Now for a hot shower to ease these aching bones.......

Wow cuda! That's a lot of targets to recover! Great job. I just hate that pennies run about 4 to1 over other coins..................but oh well HH

Nice work, your hands must be killing you.

Congrats on your biggest coin day ever - WOW! :occasion16::wav::occasion16: I notice a gleaming little sun shining there on your haul. :icon_thumleft: Andi

That's awesome!

Amazing day for sure! Looks like most of the coins were fairly recent drops. What type of sites did you hunt?

Helluva allot of digging! Congrats!

That's lots of holes dug!

What an absolutely fine day of detecting. It is so much fun when coins are plentiful, regardless of what they are. I'd call it an Advil kind of a day.

Congrats! That is ALOT of coins!!! Take your pain reliever now cause your going to be hearing from body parts you didn't know you had!

I actually don't feel all that bad today. I detect quite often so there is no one part of my bod that is hurting.....just an overall tiredness....in a good way! These coins are from two different sites. A campground and a beach. I guess about a 50/50 mix. Funny thing is the ones I got at the beach were all clean as a whistle....like fresh drops but none of the coins were new. They all had at least 10 to 40 year old dates! Very strange for the beach. I've found 2012 zinc cents that are so corroded that they had holes in them or chunks missing, but not these. I put them right into my change jar except for the foreign coins. Oh, by the way, that count of 19 foreign coins was just for Wednesday. The previous hunt at the same place produced 24 foreign coins. That's also a record for me. I'll find one or two on an average day at the beach but nothing like this. What is even stranger is I only found one (count them, 1) pull tab, and NO other junk in two days of hunting....not one piece! One of the strangest days I've ever had at the beach. The coins I found at the campground were mostly typical in condition. Some crusty, some spendable the way I found them. Plenty of junk there! I must have dug 75 pull tabs along with all the other assorted garbage.
