Back from Mexico for a short visit to the McAllen area, our daughter drove us to the South Padre Island. It is spring break, but as long as you take your own food and go a ways north, it's still the ocean. Too cold to swim, but the ocean is always cool, even when it's, ahem, cool.
We went to access #5. We left for home before 5 pm. As we were going, two young men wandered around, looking at the ground.
After we got to the car, one of them came up and showed us on his hand, one gold ring. Not a band, a large thing. He said he lost one just like it, but based on his behavior, he seemed to be unsure where he lost it. My daughter said it looked like a considerable amount of gold involved.
I told him to ask for help on Treasure Net. IF he lost it by the ocean where he was originally looking, extreme wave action will make recovery a bit tricky. He said he'd check out TN.
