All of these items were recovered in the surf with my Sand Shark during three or four trips during the month of September. The big ring is marked 10K, the diamonds I do not know about. I guess I need a tester. The smallest ring has a marking that looks like MEX3K. Is that really meaning 3K gold?

The silver ring is .925

I don't know anything about the rosary beads.

The Gerber knife was buried in the sand, about waist deep. I opened it in the water, and washed the sand out. I was amazed that it was sharp and corrosion free.

During this time period, I also found another little gold ring with a dolphin, my daughter is wearing.

The Treasurenet page in the background was my first post in July 2012. I found that 7 diamond anniversary band with my AT Gold in a lake. My wife is still wearing that ring everyday.

Could the 75 be worn off for 375? It might test 9K?

Love it ,hope the rosary test positive!

Nice finds. Are you sure its not 8k...I found a gold ring marked Mexico 8k.

I realize it is an older find but the anniversary band is stunning. I can see why the wife is still wearing it..... The newer find are cool too....HH, Beach Papa

Impressive finds, Inspector!

I like the Rosary beads....never found one intact, just sections.

Keep those treasures comin'!

I appreciate the comment.

The anniversary band still blows my mind. Most likely a once in a lifetime find, but it gives me carte blanche to buy new detectors as needed.

Thanks Lorraine,
you find cool and interesting things much more often than I do.

I think I heard my metal detector beep when I saw the big gold ring. Nice finds !!!

Congratulation:occasion14:

Those are really great finds and it's just in one month.

Very Nice

You found the knife waist-deep in the sand, or you were waist deep in water and it was in the sand?

If the first-

#1- How tall are you!? Lol...

#2- Where does the point come in where you keep digging that far down?

Ok, your right . I did not explain that very well. I recovered the knife from beneath around 6" of sand in waist deep water in the Gulf of Texaco, approx. 50' from the shore on an overcast day with a S/SE breeze of about 10 Knots.

Thanks for the interest to all!
