recent ohio finds

I finally found some time to post some recent finds.This has been my crappiest year when it comes to finding relics.I had to take 3 months off from hunting this spring due to work and some family issues.I got back in action in june.I havent found anything great but it has been nice to be back head hunting.Most of these finds were from the month of june,some were creek finds and some were field finds.goodluck hunting.

Nice finds! I hunted up along Clear Creek near Amanda in Fairfield Co. a few times years ago and have always wanted to get back up that way, lots of Flint Ridge and Mercer but everything was broken. -MB

thx 37,the first pic is a broken point,its broke just above the base and notches.that rig on the yak is a handle and then i have a rope looped through it,makes it real nice when i got to drag it through real low spots and when transporting it.

I bet there are some really nice small mouth in that creek. But I guess artifact hunting and fishing at the same time could get confusing. I know when I go mushroom hunting I always find ginseng, and if I start looking for both I find nothing! Nice bunch of artifacts. Looks like you know your stuff.

thx cat,there are some nice pools where the smallys are laid up in that creek.I do occasionaly bring a rod when i am floating the canoe,i ahve the same problem,i dont do fishing and hunting simaltaniously.not good to multi task when you are treasurer hunting.lol.

yea I thought so too,it was nice to find something that wasnt broke,i have alot more brokes from recent hunts that i didnt take pics of,so hopefully that got me out of my slump.
