Haven't gotten out recently but on my way to Virginia, I stumbled upon a construction site in a town in NC. Dug around for about an hour and didn't find a whole lot-- spoon bowl, brass plate to something, and a 1918 wheat. The turtle jewelry piece is also from the same trip at a school.

Then, I found out about a spot that had a country store dating back to 1826 on it.. The person there said she found many coins, Confederate button, etc. I, surprisingly enough, only got a buckle and a few other things.

Does anyone know what the two things are below??

Also found the pocket watch sometime ago, thought I'd throw that in the pile as well.

Nice group of finds there. Not sure on the two items the one might be some sort of horse saddle fastener but thats a guess.
