Here's a couple of pieces that I've picked up recently from Iowa. The thebes is about 3 7/8" long made of white Burlington from Henry County, Iowa. Thebes are actually kind of rare for Iowa especially compared to Hardin points. The axe is also from Henry County Iowa and measures about 7" long. The bit is rounded over from use wear but the material is spectacular. The final piece is a rare discoidal from Lee County, Iowa. It measures about 3 1/2" in diameter made of a neat piece of quartz. Discs are pretty rare in Iowa also and many of them have shallow cups as this piece does.

Always a treat hippy, thank you for showing these. That discoidal is just beautiful, it looks like a piece of ice!

Great Looking pieces Hippy I just sold my crystal quartz discoidals last week and the scary thing about one of them was that it was also Lee Co, Iowa. It was a caldwell, knoblock piece. Hopefully you can get them both together someday. Great pieces. Mooch

Jeff,

good to see ya posting. That disc is really nice. I see sooo many bad ones. Take notice people!
Take care man.
